This is the story of the Walkers ofHarnett County, North Carolina. The story is divided into three books. Book one re-creates the origins of the Walker family, and it describes what life was like living in rural North Carolina in the last century. Book two is about my life in college, since I believe all of my family will benefit from reading it. Book three tells the stories of the current generation of Walkers.This book is a fascinating read from beginning to end, and should be invaluable to any member of the Walker family who has ever wondered “where did we all come from?”
